Exmouth Competition.

The band attended the 12th Exmouth Brass Band Festival, promoted by the South West Brass Band Association which was held on Saturday 3rd September at the Exmouth Pavilion.

This was the competition for many of the bands newer members and was good experience for future events.

Members of the band thoroughly enjoyed the day with many taking the option of riding to and from the event on the coach which will be repeated in the future I'm sure.

Coffee Morning.

The band would like to thank Daphne Metherell for organising a coffee morning to help boost the band funds required for repairs to the concert hall.

This event was well attended and the final total raised was £370.

Pasty and Cider Evening.

The band recently played a joint concert with Hatherleigh Town Band in Hatherleigh Square.

This proved a great success and a good time was had by both the audience and the band members.

This raised £300 towards Torrington Silver Band.
